No ligament damage, Perez won't go on DL

dimanche 29 mai 2016

Cruz was hitting .278 with six doubles, three homers and 20 RBIs in 31 games for the Storm Chasers this season.

Perez sustained a quad contusion on Saturday when he collided with third baseman Cheslor Cuthbert in the ninth inning of the Royals' 8-7 comeback win over the White Sox as they pursued a foul pop. Perez called for the ball, but Cuthbert didn't hear him in time and slammed full force into Perez's left leg.

Perez had to be helped off the field, as he was barely able to put weight on the leg.
