BOSTON -- Jackie Bradley Jr.'s 29-game hitting streak came to an end on Thursday night at Fenway Park as the Red Sox lost, 8-2, to the Rockies. Bradley was on deck in the ninth when the game ended.

Bradley (0-for-4) finished five games shy of Dom DiMaggio (34 games in 1949) for the longest hitting streak in Red Sox history. The left-handed hitter was more than halfway to Joe DiMaggio's record-setting streak of 56 games in 1941.
