Mets will not skip Harvey's next start

mercredi 25 mai 2016

The Mets considered skipping Harvey's most recent start, but they instead opted to let him pitch against the same Nationals team that had tagged him for nine runs in 2 2/3 innings in his previous outing. The result was much the same for Harvey, who gave up three homers -- including a two-run shot to former teammate Daniel Murphy -- and five total runs in five innings.

Wednesday morning, Harvey reported to manager Terry Collins' office immediately upon arriving at Nationals Park. Those two, assistant general manager John Ricco and pitching coach Dan Warthen had a 10-minute meeting before the Mets announced their decision.
