Cubs, Yanks reportedly have deal for Aroldis

lundi 25 juillet 2016

The Cubs have agreed to a deal with the Yankees to acquire fireballing reliever Aroldis Chapman for a multiplayer package, according to a report from MLB Network's Jon Heyman. Neither team has confirmed the report.

Heyman tweeted that New York will acquire shortstop Gleyber Torres, outfielder Billy McKinney, right-hander Adam Warren and likely one more player. Speedy outfielder Rashad Crawford will be the fourth player, reported Patrick Mooney of CSN Chicago.

Torres is the Cubs' No. 1 prospect, while McKinney ranks fifth in their system. Warren returns to the Yankees' organization after being sent to Chicago for infielder Starlin Castro last offseason.

Chapman, who the Yankees acquired last offseason, is 3-0 with a 2.01 ERA and 20 saves this year.
