In the third inning on Monday, the Angels' cleanup hitter turned on a 1-1, 91-mph, chest-high fastball from Royals starter Ian Kennedy and sent it near the center-field rock pile, a ball that traveled a projected distance of 395 feet away, according to Statcast™. It was his fourth home run this season, giving the Angels an early 4-0 lead.
