Coming off a start in which he took a no-hitter into the eighth inning his last time out, Marco Estrada was his sharp early but struggled in the middle innings. Jonathan Schoop recorded the Orioles' first hit with a solo home run in the fifth, before Chris Davis smacked a two-run shot in the sixth. Despite the no-decision, Estrada has gone nine straight starts without allowing more than five hits.
Orioles starter Kevin Gausman also did not factor into the decision, but he did record his sixth quality start of the season. Gausman went 6 1/3 innings and held the Blue Jays to three runs -- two earned -- despite allowing eight hits. The 25-year-old passed the 100-pitch threshold for the fifth consecutive outing, setting a new career-high.
