White Sox hit 7 HRs in loss, tie MLB record

samedi 25 juin 2016

The White Sox smacked seven homers to tie a franchise best on Saturday against the Blue Jays, but they also became just the third team in MLB history to belt that many in a loss, as they fell, 10-8, at U.S. Cellular Field.

The South Siders joined the Tigers of 1995 and 2004 as the only teams to hit seven homers in defeat. All of Chicago's on Saturday were solo shots, including one inside-the-parker by Brett Lawrie with two outs in the bottom of the second inning.
